Northfield Service

At Northfield, we believe in singing for our supper. It’s one of the ways in which our school is unlike any other; everyone—students, faculty, parents, families, friends—has a hand in its making. This approach has made us rich in atmosphere, deep in warmth, and solid in our foundations. Northfield students learn quickly and early that taking part in service to the school results in a warm, welcoming environment. Our reception hall walls are hung with original student photographs and artwork alongside prints of the masters, and many of our classrooms are ablaze with murals painted entirely by student hands. We use tables that are topped with glass tile mosaics, sit on handmade benches, and fill our water coolers and aquarium from a student-built filtration center.
