Social Events

Northfield sponsors a number of social events throughout the year, beginning with the Harvest Party, which is an all-school event that includes a bonfire, pumpkin-carving, and story-telling. Our students enjoy a Sadie Hawkins dance to brighten up the winter, and in the spring, upperclassmen look forward to planning and enjoying the Formal Dance. At the end of the school year, students and faculty gather for a celebratory picnic, but no one really says goodbye, because over the summer, Northfielders keep in touch by playing informal baseball games and attending the annual swim party. In between events, our students keep busy with field trips, January School, June School, and competitive games, from basketball to volleyball, cross-country to chess.
